How are plants reproduced by vegetative propagation different from those produced by seeds ?

Dear student,
Please find below the solution to the asked query

Some plants are able to reproduce by vegetative reproduction because they contain vegetative propagules which give them a tendency to reproduce in this way. Vegetative propagules are specialised parts which help in reproduction. e.g. bulb in onion, tuber in potato etc. The process of pollination and fertilization is not required here.

Reproduction by seeds is known as sexual reproduction.
Plants that reproduce sexually have two reproductive parts i.e male reproductive organ and female reproductive organ. The male reproductive organ produces male gamete (sperm nuclei) and female reproductive organ produces female gamete (egg). Process of pollination and fertilization is required here.
