How do marine organisms get mineral materials for their use ?

Dear student.

As precipitation happens and and the rain water and river water washes over rocks, some of the minerals in these rocks get dissolved in the water. This water then goes into the seas and oceans which provides nutrients and minerals to the aquatic life.
