how does Mrs pearson treat cyril and Doris when they enter the home

Dear student

Mrs. Fitzgerald refuses to make tea for Doris and refuses to iron her yellow silk. She tells Doris that she is old enough to do it herself and also tells her that she works twice as hard as Doris. When she hears that she is going out with Charlie Spence, Mrs. Fitzgerald asks if Doris can't find anyone better. She says that she wouldn't be seen dead with Charlie Spence, who has buck teeth and is half-witted. She says that when she was Doris's age, she would have found somebody better than Charlie Spence or given up telling herself that she was ugly.

While speaking to Cyril, She tells him that she is not going to make dinner because she does not feel like it. She starts to drink stout right in front of him and refuses to look at his clothes that need mending. She also accuses him of not doing any house work and giving it all to her.
