How does tyndall effect help us to see a movie in a theatre?

Tyndall effect is the phenomenon of scattering of light by the particles of a colloid or particles of a fine suspension . In simpler terms when we direct a beam of light towards a colloid or a suspension , its path is visible which is known as TYNDALL EFFECT . It was discovered by John Tyndall.

For e.g. We are able to see a movie in a theatre because of this Tyndall effect. Projector works on this phenomenon. When a movie is run on a projector, it projects itself on the big screen. We are able to see it on the screen due to scattering of light by the dust (colloidal particles) particles present in the theatre.

I dont think that tyndall effect will scatter light to that extent. There is usually a lens inside the projector so that the image appears big. see:
