HOW FAR WERE BRITISH AGRIGARIAN AND TRIBAL POLICIES RESPONSIBLE FOR WIDESPREAD DISCONTENTMENT OF INDIA?

British agrarian and tribal policies were responsible for the wider discontentment on India because It lead to heavy taxation on the peasants and it also lead the violation of rights of the Tribal communities which they were having on the forests.The life of peasant was deteriorated due to this heavy taxation .The Tribals were sometimes displaced from their habitats without any compensation.
