How fibres react to chemicals such as dyes , pigments , soaps, detergents and bleaches?

1. Fibres form strong bonds with dyes, pigments and bleaches so that they are attached permanently and did not wash or fade away.

2. Fibres form weak bonds with soaps and detergents. This is because, they wash away with water.
