How is magnetic effect of electric current used in electric fan?

Experts pls. help...

electric fans contain electric motor in it.electric motor consist of current carrying coil and magnets.magnets provide magnetic field.so when the magnetic field of magnets and magnetic field produced by current carrying coil interact with each other a force act on the the coil due which it rotates.
