how many chiral carbon atoms are there in1-chloro-2,5-dimethyl chlorohexane?

Please note that the correct name of the compound is either 1-Chloro-2,5-dimethylhexane or 1-Chloro-2,5-dimethyl cyclohexane as in 1-chloro-2,5-dimethyl chlorohexane, the position of chlorine is already specified as 1.

Now in 1-Chloro-2,5-dimethylhexane, there is only 1 chiral carbon, where as in 1-chloro-2,5-dimethyl chlorohexane, there are two chiral carbon atoms. This is because these are the only carbon atoms that carry all different groups. These carbon atoms have been shown with an asterisk.

There are no chiral carbons in "1-chloro-2,5-dimethyl chlorohexane"
And I think that there is some mistake in this name...chlorohexane should not be there...it must be something else.

Please recheck the question and ask again..
