1. How many times will the wheel of a car rotate in a journey of 2002 m, if the radius of the wheel is 49 cm?

Given, 

  Distance = 2002m = 200200cm

  Radius of wheel = 49 cm

  circumference of wheel = 2pi r

  = 2*22/7*49

  = 308 cm

distance covered by wheel in one rotation  = circumference of wheel

  so, total no. of rotation = total distance/distance covered in one rotation

  = 200200/308

  =650 revolutions

hence  wheel of the car will rotate 650 times in the journey of 2002 m if radius of wheel is 49cm.
