HOW THE SCALE IS DONE HERE
Dear Student!
Bar graph is a chart with rectangular bars.They are used to represent data which have discrete values. The scale in the bar graph is taken in a manner, so that all the numerical data can be represented easily on it.
Example:
The following table represents the price of apples in different months.
Month | Price (B) |
January | 45 |
February | 35 |
March | 30 |
April | 40 |
The months are represented on the horizontal line and their prices on the vertical line.
Here, we take scale 1 unit = Rs 10. That is, one unit on the vertical line represents Rs 10.
