how to draw tangents to a circle if centre of circle without using centre.???
Here are the steps of construction:
(i) Draw a circle of desired radius.
Taking any point K on circle, draw the chord KL of any length.
(ii) Mark any point M other than K and L on the alternate arc of KXL.
Join MK and LM. Thus, ÐLMK is formed.
(iii) Using KL as one side and vertex K, draw ray KN making an angle equal to ÐLMK.
The line containing ray KN is the required tangent.
First find the centre of the circle using the centre menthod and then find the tangents ofcourse.........2morrow I'll reply in detail.......tym to go to bed sorry...............
Just post a question with values in this question and I'll sovle and post.........(only if u can)
