# How to find the number of images formed between 2 mirrors placed at a certan angle ? Example ?

For eg: 900

360/90 = 4 -1 = 3

3 images will be formed...

The formula for finding the no of images formed when two mirrors are kept at a certain angle is (360/angle) - 1

Suppose the angle between the two mirrors is 45o,

then number of images formed

1. = (360/45) - 1
2. = 8 - 1
3. = 7

The number of images formed will be 7.

there is a formula for finding nomber of images formed when two mirrors are kept at an angle and that formula is

360/theta - 1 (theta means the angle between the two mirrors)

so you asked for the example say 60degree

360/60 - 1 = 5

therefore 5 images will be formed

infinity no. of images will be fomed only if the mirrors are placed parallel to each other. If the mirrors are placed at angle.. we should use the formula of 360 by theta (i.e the measure of the angle ) and then subtract your answer by 1.. hope this helped.. If it did.. like it :)
