how to measure aline segment with divider? please say me fast my exam is tommorow........

draw a line segment AB. place one tip of the divider on A and other on B. Without changing the measurement of the divider lift the divider and fix it on thegraduated ruler so that one tip is at zero mark. Then read the mark against the other tip of the divider that will be the measure of the line segment.

if u want to get a exact measure we use a divider.   if a line segment AB is there we put one of the tip on A and by extending it we put the other tip of it on B . then we measure it by not

changing the measurement of the divider and by keeping it aside the ruler and putting one tip near 0 without extending it and seeing how much the line measures
