How will you verify the properties of carbon dioxide

Carbon dioxide is colorless. At low concentrations the gas is odorless; however, at sufficiently-high concentrations, it has a sharp, acidic odor. At standard temperature and pressure, the density of carbon dioxide is around 1.98 kg/m3, about 1.67 times that of air.

Carbon dioxide is the gas that is odourless and also has no colour. It is produced during the respiration process of all living beings.
To verify the properties of the Carbon Dioxide we can try the following things :
If on blowing in the lime water the water turns milky in colour verifies the gas is Carbon Dioxide.
It also does not support the combustion of fire. If directly blown over the fire, the fire extinguishes.
It also produces the solid precipitate of Calcium Carbonate, if passed through the diluted solution of Calcium hydroxide.
