(i) 50 sound waves pass through a point in 0.1 s. If the distance between one compression and the subsequent rarefaction is 0.34 m, calculate (a) frequency (b) wavelength (c) wave velocity of the longitudinal wave in air.

(ii) Represent graphically by two separate diagrams in each case.

(a) Two sound waves having the same amplitude but different frequencies.

(b) Two sound waves having the same frequency but different amplitudes.

(c) Two sound waves having different amplitudes and also different wavelengths.

PLEASE ANSWER AS SOON AS U CAN!!!

(i) 50 sound waves pass through a point in 0.1s,
then 500 sound waves pass through a point in 1 s.
so the frequency of sound wave = 500 Hz
wavelength = 2 * distance between one consecutive compression and rarefaction = 2 * 0.34 m = 0.68 m
wave velocity = frequency * wavelength = 500 * 0.68 = 340 m/s
(ii) a)
b)
c)
