b. Oral cavity is the opening through which food is taken in that is the mouth and its contents. It is the first part of the alimentary canal. It is bounded by teeth in the front and upper and lower palate. It consists of teeth, tongue, jaws and receives the secretion of salivary glands.

The stomach stores and mixes the food received from the esophagus with the gastric juice. The gastric glands present in the walls of the stomach secrete several substances, which together constitute the gastric juice.

The main components of gastric juice are hydrochloric acid, mucus, and pepsinogen.

The gall bladder is a small organ that aids in the digestion of fats and stores bile produced by the liver.

Colon is a part of small intestine where most of the water and salts are absorbed.
