if one vertex of an equilateral triangle is 1+i and centroid is at origin, then find the other two vertices of triangle?

The figure can be given as,

Centroid is at origin and we know that for a equilateral triangle all median, perpendicular bisecotor and angle bisector lies on the same line so,
Here O will divide the line AE in the ration 2:1.
So using section formula, the coordinate of E can be found out as,

coordinate of O = mx2+nx1m+n,my2+ny1m+n =0,0Here m = 2, n = 1 and x1=1, y1=1 , So 0 = 2x2+1×12+1x2=-12, and 0 =2y2+1×12+1 or y2=-12Now coordinate of E=x2, y2=-12,-12Now slop of AE, m1=1-01-0=1So slop of BC a line perpendicular to AE, m2=-1m1=-1So equation of BC, is a line passing through -12,-12  having slop -1, y +12 =-1x+12 x+y=-1......1Now angle B= 60 degree as triangle ABC is equilateral soLet slop of line AB is m, Now angle between line AB and BC, tan60=m-m21+mm2or m+11-m=3taking positive sign , m+11-m=3 m+1=3-3mm = 3-13+1×3-13-1=2-3......2Now taking negative sign we get, m+11-m=-3 m+1=-3+3mm = 3+13-1×3+13+1=2+3......3Two slop of equation 1 and 2 are slop of AB and AC, So equation of AB is a line passing from point 1,1 and having slop  2-3y - 1= 2-3 x-1......4Similarily equation of AC is, y -1 = 2+3x-1......5Now we have three side equation and solving them we will get the vertices of B and C. Do it for your own practice.
