first of all u can write that since i am an adopted son/ daughter i donot have the right to inherit both the properties 

then u can say that the current ruler can decide the next emperor 

then u can say that the emperor can take the skill test of all the men who want to be the emperor 

these are just the basic points u can make the rest on ur own related to this
