Since the base of the triangular prism is a triangle with sides 3cm, 4cm and 5cm.

and (5)² = (3)² + (4)²

So, triangle is a right angle triangle.

$∴ Area of base (triangle) = \frac{1}{2} \times base \times height = \frac{1}{2} \times 4 \times 3 = 6 {cm}^{2}$

Now we know that –

$Volume of Prism= area of base \times height = (6 {cm}^{2}) \times 20 cm = 120 {cm}^{3}$
