Is it necessary to draw a balance sheet with receipts and payments account

Dears student, Definitely receipts and payments account will be helpful in preparation of balance sheet, but one cannot only rely upon receipt and payments account as there might be existing assets which would not be listed in the same. Lastly it all depends on need of the question. Regards
