Is IVF a kind of asexual reproduction process pls give a suitable explanation

Dear student,
Please find below the answer:

No, IVF is not asexual reproduction because asexual reproduction involves only a single parent, and the process of fertilization is not there in asexual mode.
In-vitro fertilization (IVF) is a process where fertilization is carried outside the female's body. It involves the surgical removal of eggs from the ovaries of the female and letting sperm fertilize them in a laboratory condition. The fertilized egg is then cultured for 2 to 5 days in a growth medium in a test tube ('in-vitro') and then implanted to the same or another women's uterus.

Hope this clears your doubt.
Regards.
