yes rubber band is a solid ,it changes its shape when force is applied. if the force is removed it returns to its orignal shape . it breaks if excessive force is applied beyond a limit

Justification:

rubberband is as you know made of rubber and rubber is made of latex and latex is a liquid, te latex is basically supercooled and thus acquires some propeties of solid but it is a partial conversion of state of matter so as it can streach, it is considered a liquid which justifies the question.
