Is there any difference between Bakers yeast and Brewers yeast???

Dear Student, Different proportion of carbon dioxide and alcohol are produced by different strains of Saccharomyces Cerevisiae. Baker's yeast are the blend strain of Saccharomyces Cerevisiae are more chosen for their flavour and ability to produce carbon dioxide which makes bread to rise. They are active strain. Breyers yeast are the blend strain which are known for their alcohol producing strain which makes taste bitter. So, they are inactive strain. Thank You!
