Suprascapula is absent from human skeleton but present in pectoral gridle of frog.

Dear student

Please refer the solution below for the said query

Supra scapula is a plate shaped calcified cartilage connected with the scapula. It covers the transverse processes of the 2nd , 3rd, and 4th vertebrae on the dorsal side. In frog, it along with other parts of pectoral girdle protect the delicate and vital organs such as heart and lungs. In mammals like humans these organs are protected within thoracic chamber by ribcage. Hence, it is absent from human skeleton but present in pectoral gridle of frog.
