Karyochorisis is the hypothesis or process of somatic nuclear division occurring in fungi. This nuclear division occurs by the constriction of the nuclear membrane. First the invagination of inner nuclear membrane occurs that divides nucleoplasm into two parts. Then subsequent invagination in outer nuclear membrane results in formation of daughter nuclei.
