Meninges-
  • Location- The human brain is externally protected by the skull. Inside the skull is a membranous covering called cranial meninges.
  • Functions- Meninges acts as the protective membranous covering of the brain which separates the brain from the skull.
Stoma-
  • Location-  Stomatal pores (Stoma) are the pores present on the surface of the leaf. The term, stoma also refers to stomatal complex (both stomatal pore and the surrounding guard cells).
  • Functions- These tiny pores that are present on the surface of leaves through which gaseous exchange, as well as transpiration (loss of water), occur in plants. The stoma is singular of stomata.
