mention the process used to separate sulphur from a mixture of sulphur and copper

Sulphur and copper can be separated by dissolving the mixture in carbon disulphide followed by filtration to separate copper.  Sulphur dissolved in CS₂ is the filtrate and sulphur is obtained by evaporation of  CS₂.:

Step1:  Dissolve the mixture of sulphur and copper in carbondisulphide. Carbondisulphide will dissolve sulphur but not copper..

Step2: Filter the solution. Copper is separated as the residue.

Step3: The filtrate contains sulphur in carbondisulphide.  Evaporate the filtrate to vapourize carbondisulphide.  Crystals of sulphur are left behind.
