mention the process used to separate sulphur from a mixture of sulphur and copper

Sulphur and copper can be separated by dissolving the mixture in carbon disulphide followed by filtration to separate copper.  Sulphur dissolved in CS2 is the filtrate and sulphur is obtained by evaporation of  CS2.:

Step1:  Dissolve the mixture of sulphur and copper in carbondisulphide. Carbondisulphide will dissolve sulphur but not copper..

Step2: Filter the solution. Copper is separated as the residue.

Step3: The filtrate contains sulphur in carbondisulphide.  Evaporate the filtrate to vapourize carbondisulphide.  Crystals of sulphur are left behind.
