Name any four gases present in air?Also explain them?

Nitrogen:  78.0842%

Oxygen :  20.9463%

Co2  :  0.03811%

Argon  :  0.93422%

NITROGEN:

Nitrogen is an odorless, tasteless, colorless nonmetallic chemical element which appears in great abundance in the Earth's atmosphere. It also appears in a number of other compounds, and is a vital component of life on Earth for many organisms. In addition to inhaling nitrogen with every breath, most organisms also consume it in their food on a daily basis. Many different forms are commercially available, from the supercoolant liquid nitrogen to nitrous oxide, a type of anesthetic.

OXYGEN:

Oxygen is a colorless, odorless, tasteless gaseous chemical element which appears in great abundance on Earth, trapped by the atmosphere. Many people are familiar with oxygen, because it is a vital component of the respiration process; without oxygen, most organisms will die within minutes. A number of forms of oxygen and oxygen compounds can be found in nature. Oxygen can also be isolated and sold in pure form for an assortment of uses, and was first isolated and identified in 1774.

Co2:

Carbon is a naturally abundant nonmetallic element which forms the basis of most living organisms. It is the fourth most abundant element in the universe, and it plays a crucial role in the health and stability of the planet through the carbon cycle. This cycle is extremely complex, and it illustrates the interconnection between organisms on Earth. Most consumers are familiar with the element, along with numerous forms in which it appears.

ARGON:

Argon is a gaseous chemical element which makes up almost one percent of the Earth's atmosphere. Among the noble gases, argon is generally considered to be the most abundant, and it is sometimes used to replace other noble gases in situations where an inert gas in needed. The relatively nonreactive gas has a number of industrial uses, and argon isotopes are also used in radiocarbon dating for very old artifacts. Consumers may interact with argon now and then, primarily indirectly.

The four gases that are present in air are:

(i)OXYGEN  {it helps in respiration of animals&plants}

(ii)carbon-di-oxide  {it helps plants in the process of their photosynthesis}

(iii)nitrogen  {it helps oxygen to not burn all the things present in air}

 (iv) hydrogen {SORRY,I DON'T NO!}

(a) OXYGEN [HELPS IN THE RESPIRATION OF HUMAN BIENGS, PLANTS & ANIMALS.]

(b) NITROGEN [HELPS OXYGEN NOT TO BURN ALL THE THINGS PRESENT IN THE AIR.]

(c) CARBON-DI-OXIDE [HELPS THE PLANTS IN THE PROCESS OF PHOTOSYNTHESIS.]

(d) HYDROGEN [IT IS USED IN THE OBJECTS LIKE GAS-BALLON. ]

  I DON'T KNOW ANYTHING MORE ABOUT HYDROGEN. I AM SORRY

  • OXYGEN:IT HELPS IN BURNING AND RESPIRATION
  •
  • NITROGEN:IT DOES`NT SUPPOURTS BURNING
  •
  • CARBON DIOXIDE :HELPS PLANTS TO MAKE THEIR OWN FOOD IN THE PROCESS OF PHOTOSYNTHESIS.
  • WATER VAPOUR :WHEN YOU TAKE A BOTTLE FROM YOUR FRIDGE,YOU`LL SEE TINY DROPLETS OF WATER.IT IS WATER VAPOUR

1) Oxygen-It helps in burning,is important for breathing and is 21% on earth.

2) Nitrogen-It is 78% on earth

3) Carbon dioxide and Other gases - It is 1% on earth

1. Oxygen-It helps in burning, respration etc. and 21% of  oxygen is present in air.

2. nitrogen_it helps in nitrogen fixation etc. and 78% nitrogen in air.

3.Argon-0.9%

4. carbon dioxide-0.03%

5. And the rest part was 1%

hope this help you Cheers,

thank you

The four gases present in atmosphere are-
OXYGEN
It supports respiration of human beings.
CARBON DIOXIDE-
It helps plants in the process of photosynthesis.
NITROGEN-
This element is present in virtually all pharmacological drugs. In the form of nitrous oxide it is used as an anaesthetic.
HELIUM The largest use of helium is in cryogenics. It is used in the field because of its low boiling point and low density. It is mainly used to cool superconducting magnets in MRI scanners.
