Dear student, Ca(HCO3)2 is calcium bicarbonate. It does not exist in solid state and it exists only in aqueous state. The IUPAC name of the calcium bicarbonate is calcium hydrogen carbonate. The thermal decomposition of calcium bicarbonate to produce calcium carbonate, carbon dioxide and water. The reaction takes place in a boiling solution.
