- coal tar - it is when supjected to fractional distillation the following products are formed :-
- toulene - used for making DDT and TNT.
- benzene - used for making BHC.
- phenol - used for making dyes.
- napthalene - used as moth repellant .

- used as an artificial ferrtiliser

- used as a household fuel .
