Sheep and Yak are the wool yielding animals in India. Different breeds of sheep are Churro in Algeria, Scottish Black face in Argentina, Scotland and USA, Columbia in USA, Cotswold in England, Karakul in Central Asia, Africa and Europe, Merino in Spain and Rambouillet in France. Llama, Vicunas, Guanacos and Alpaca are reared for wool in South America.  Camels are used for wool in Mongolia and other parts of China. Angora rabbits are used for getting wool different parts of the world. Musk Oxen are reared for wool in Canada, Alaska and Greenland.  Acipayam is reared for wool in Afghanistan.
