Nylon and polyesters are synthetic fibres so what are there limitation
Dear Student,
Synthetic fibres like nylon and polyester cause micro plastic pollution, which can end up in the ocean and the seafood that humans eat.
Synthetic fibres are non-biodegradable and burn readily giving off smoke and soot.
As they are hydrophobic i.e water repelling, they do not allow enough circulation of air.
So clothes made of synthetic fibres are not comfortable to wear as they do not allow sweat to evaporate easily.
Finally, they produce more electrostatic charge than with natural fibres
