i didn't ask the meaning of origin , i wanted to know on which axis does origin lies? as per me , it is none of the axis , but some other people says it lies on x axis....please clear this for me..

Yes. you are correct. The origin lies on none of the axes. It is the point where the x - axis and the y - axis meet on the Cartesian Plane.
