Out of CO2 and NH3, which gas is expected to show more deviation from ideal behaviour?

Help :o

Deviation from ideal behavior occurs due to molecular interactions in the gas particles, so in case of ammonia NH3 due to the strong hydrogen bonding and polar character due to the difference in electronegativity of N and H-atoms, it will have more interactions as compared to the non polar and symmetric carbon dioxide (CO2) molecule.

Hence,NH3 gas will have more deviation.

NH3 shows more deviation than CO2.

Reason:CO2 is a non-polar ,weak bond but NH3 is a strong hydrogen bond.

hope this helps.......
