plants dont have centrioles, so how are the spindle fibres formed for cell division? how can it divide without centriole? n if it can , why do animals need the centriole? What is its main function? arent spindle fibres formed by centriole? if nt then wer r they formed?

Centrioles act as MTOC (Microtubule organizing centre) in animals where spindle fibres which are microtubular in nature are organized. Spindles are formed in plants without centrioles, as they lack centrioles. Nuclear envelope act as MTOC in plants and spindle fibres are formed there.
Centrioles areefficient for spindle formation but are not essential.
