Please answer, Explain the different types of elements present in phloem.

Dear Student, Phloem consists of sieve tube element and parenchyma cells including companion cells, fibres and sclereids. Sieve tube contain pores through which sugars are transported in plants. Companion cells provide metabolic support to sieve tube cells and mechanical support is provided by fibres and sclereids. Hope it helps. Regards.
