the system in which power is shared among different organs of government, such as the legislature, executive and judiciary. This is called horizontal distribution of power. It is because it allows different organs of government placed at the same level to exercise different powers.

Under Horizontal power sharing power is shared among different organs of the government namely Legislature, Executive and Judiciary. These organs works differently but at same footing.
