Answer 6. Two houses of Indian Parliament are:
(i) Lok Sabha (Lower House):
  It the lower house of the Parliament which is a directly elected body.Lok Sabha can have a maximum of 552 members. Presently there are 545 members out of which 2 are nominated by the President from the Anglo-Indian community.  Lok Sabha is dissolved after every five years or earlier by the president.
(ii) Rajya Sabha  ( Upper House ) :  It is the upper house of the Parliament or the Council of States comprising of 250 members  out of which 12 members have been nominated by the President from amongst the persons having special knowledge in art, science, literature etc.  Rajya Sabha is a permanent body which is not subject to dissolution.

Answer 9. The national government of India is selected from members of Parliament. Members of Parliament are either from the Lok Sabha or Rajya Sabha. Lok Sabha members are elected through direct elections while Rajya Sabha members are elected through indirect elections.  

Answer 10. The first hour of a sitting of Lok Sabha is devoted to Questions and that hour is called the Question Hour. It has a special significance in the proceedings of Parliament.The questions are generally raised by the Members of the Parliament to the concerned ministers about issues of administration. The minister is obliged to provide answers to the questions raised during the question hour.
