Usually chromatin remains very thin, thread like inside the nucleus of a cell. We cannot differentiate them in this form. During cell division chromatins become highly coiled and condensed to form chromosomes. Due to condensation they appear to be thicker and absorb stains well. Thus they become visible. In Telophase stage, the chromosome move towards the pole and start to decondense and hence are not properly visible.
Hence the correct option is option b i.e. telophase stage.
