Dear Student,

Kindly find the answer to question number 3,4 and 5th below.

3- The image formed by a plane mirror is laterally inverted , and of the same size as that of the object. The left side of the object appears on the right side of the image. Also, the distance of the image from the plane mirror is same as the distance between the plane mirror and the object. So the statement is true.

4- The image formed by a plane mirror is erect and of the same size as that of the object. The left side of the object appears on the right side of the image. Also, the distance of the image from the plane mirror is same as the distance between the plane mirror and the object. So the statement is also true.

5- The law of reflection states that when a light ray is incident on a plane surface, the incident ray, the reflected ray and the “normal” to the surface of the mirror all lie in the same plane.
It also states that the angle the incident ray makes with the normal is equal to the angle that the reflected ray makes with the normal.

here i= angle of incident
r= angle of reflection

according to law
angle i = angle r

So angle of reflection will be also 60 degrees as per the details given in question.

Kindly post other queries in different thread.
