As the wire is stretched double its length, its cross section area will become half[volume is constant and volume=length×area]

Given,R=30ΩR=ρLA=30ΩRnew=ρ(2L)A2=4ρLA=120ΩAs wire is bend to form equilateral triangle, resistance of each side=1203=40ΩWe know,Req=R1+R2  [In series]Req=R1×R2R1+R2 [In parallel]


Req=40+40=80Ω [Upper two arms in series]Req=80×4080+40=803Ω [Upper and lower arms in parallel]
