Please solve question 3
Dear Student,
Please find below the solution to the asked query:
We follow these steps:
We know all three medians intersect at a single point and Medians cuts each other at a ratio of 2 : 1 .
Step 1 : We Draw a line ED as of side of 6 cm , So we get ED = 2 cm
Step 2 : Now take Radius of of side of 6.6 cm ( 2.2 cm ) and center " E " draw an arc and Radius of of side of 7.2 cm ( 2.4) and center " D " draw an arc that intersect previous arc at " G " .
Step 3 : We extend line GE to X and get line " GX " and extend line DG to Y and get line " DY "
Step 4 : With radius of GE and center " E " we draw an arc that intersect our line GX at " A " .
Step 5 : Join AD and and extend it to point B as AD = BD .
Step 6 : Now we take radius double the DG or of side of 7.2 cm ( 4.8 cm ) and draw an arc by taking center " G " that arc intersect our line DY at " C " .
Step 7 : Join AC and BC . We get our required triangle .
Hope this information will clear your doubts about Constructions.
