Please tell me when and where we have to use ohm's law

Dear Student
Ohm's Law :-

Potential difference (V) across a wire is directly proportional to current (I). Thus,

=> V = RI

Where R is a constant of proportionality called resistance of the resistor, it tends to resist the flow of charge through a conducting wire. Its SI unit is Ohm (Ω).
It is applicable for only for conductors provided their temprature and other physical condition (eg Pressure) remains unchanged.

Ohm's Law is applied in a branch of circuit or in the circuit to find V or I or R.
