Assertion and reason both are correct but reason is not the correct explanation of assertion.
Industrial pollution is caused by burning of fossil fuels such as oil, petrol natural gas, and petroleum, dumping of waste in the water bodies as well as land and releasing the untreated gas and liquid waste into the air.A major concern of industrial pollution is land degradation. Land degradation is the process where the land loses its value due to human imposed activities.So assertion tell us the management of wastes but reason is related to mismanagement of irrigation.
