Pls answer thank you

Dear Student,

The execution of the ninth Sikh guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur (1664-1675 CE) by Aurangzeb made the peace-loving Sikh community take up arms. Under Guru Gobind Singh, the 10th Sikh guru, the Sikhs fought bitterly against Aurangzeb.
Official Mughal records, describes the reasons for the assassination of Guru Tegh Bahadur in 1675. These reocrds state that Guru Tegh Bahadur moved around with his several thousand followers. The Sikh gurus were increasingly seen as political rivals by the kingdoms of the Mughal empire as there was a rise in the political and material influence of Guruhood.
There are many other records which states things differently. The Sikh tradition states that the guru stood up for the rights of Kashmiri Pandits . To stand up for the protection of the Kashmiri Pandits, Guru Tegh Bahadur travelled to Delhi. At the Mughal court, he was mocked and asked to prove his guruhood by performing a miracle. He wrote a magic spell on a piece of paper and tied it around his neck with a thread and told the Mughals that as long as this spell remained tied to him, his head would not be separated from his body even if the blade of the executioner tried to severe his head. However, when the blade struck the Guru's neck , it severed his head. When the mughals read the magic spell tied to his neck , it read, “He gave his head, not his secret.”

Regards.
