1. V² = U² + 2gh
    V²     = 0 + 2×10× 2
   V²  = 40 m²/ s²

K.E. = $\frac{1}{2}m{v}^2$
         = $\frac{1}{2}x2x40$
         = 40 J
         
2. Total mechanical energy =  P.E. + K.E.
