If we over exploit them or overuse the resources, there will be enormous lack of resources and future generation will not be use them. He believed that modern technology is the root cause for resource depletion at the global level. So, he was against mass production and modern technology.
6. The 4R theory is best measure for conservation of the resources. 4Rs are :- Reduce,Reuse, Recycle and Recover.

- REDUCE:We should reduce the use of materials which are harmful to us.Like: We should use paper bags and reduce the use of polethene bags.
- REUSE: We should reuse things like plastic bags can be used to make decorative things. So that it may not harm the environment more.
- RECYCLE: We should give waste things (which cannot be decomposed) for recycling. Like:- polyethene, plastic materials, etc.
- RECOVER: If there is still waste left over after we have reduced, reused and recycled we can use it to make energy at our energy-from-waste (EfW) facility. This process is called Recovery.
