Excretory System
The excretory organs of the earth worm occur segmentally arranged coiled tubules called Nephridia (starts as funnels and collect excess fluid). These help in the regulation of volume and composition of body fluids. Nephridia collect the excess fluid and wastes from the coelomic chamber and delivers the wastes through the pore to the surface of the body wall with the help tubular structure. Nephridium are of three types and these are explained below:
