Plz tell 1(a) fast

Dear Student,
1.
(a) This is happen because the straw experiences a push force from all direction. This force makes the straw to move upwards and float. The lower portion on the straw which is completely submerged in the liquid experiences more upthrust than the top portion of the straw. This happens because the buoyancy is directly proportional to the depth.
