Following are the main features of tropical rainforests:
a. The tropical rainforests has equatorial climate and experiences heavy rainfall, high temperature throughout the year.
b.The trees here grow very close to  each other. They grow around near the Equatorial belt.
c They are largely found in amazon basin, These trees are rich repository of natural medicines., Important plants found are are teak,rosewood, etc.
d. Animals found are black bear, baboon, lion, etc.

THESE TYPES OF MOUNTAINS ARE FORMED WHEN TECTONIC PLATE MOVEMENTS CAUSE FAULTING OR FRACTURING OF THE EARTH'S LITHOSPHERIC PLATES. THIS LEADS TO THEIR DISPLACEMENT. THE PART OF THE LITHOSPHERIC PLATES THAN GETS UPLIFTEDBY THE PUSH OR PULL MOVEMNTS, IS KNOWN AS BLOCK KOUNTAINS OR HORST.

2. FOLD MOUNTAINS
FOLD MOUNTAINS ARE FORMED BY THE COMPRESSIVE MOVEMENTS OF THE EARTH'S LITHOSPHERIC PLATES. LAYES OF ROCKES ARE PUSHED TOWARDS EACH OTHER AND ARE UPLIFTED BY FOLDING OR FAULTING. EG:ALPS,ANDES

VOLCANIC MOUNTAINS ARE FORMED WHEN THE HOT MOLTEN ROCK (MAGMA) FOUND DEEP INSIDE THE EARTH. ERUPTS THROUGH OPENINGS OR VENTS IN THE CRUST, AND PILES UP ON THE SURFACE. MAGMA IS CALLED LAVA.EG:MT. FUJIYAMA, MT PELEE
